Mercury Villager Wheel Center Caps

Mercury Villager minivans were manufactured from 1993-2002. Just as important as the tires and rims on any vehicle are the wheel center caps. Replacing or upgrading wheel center caps is an easy way to give the Villager some polish.

What is the purpose of wheel center caps?

The wheel center caps are the small disks in the center of the wheels that cover the hub nut of the axle. Part of their job is to keep water and other foreign objects from being thrown up into the cars hub nut and the wheel bearings. This helps reduce corrosion and can extend the life of these parts. Center caps also make the wheels look nice by filling in the wheels centers to give them a smooth, finished appearance.
